Tailgate party in San Diego, rare.

Hello all,

Went for a bonfire and found out there was some kind of water event and a tailgate party of course. Fun to see everyone. Except those people who are running their light bars on the street. I get it, it’s the one time you “off-road” in San Diego. I should of taken a picture of the other side where the bonfires were, I forgot. Sorry. Probably had a few hundred vehicles on Fiesta Island, good name huh? Didn’t see any Rangers though :/

Not sure, everyone was walking around with their beers in hand at night. Kind of wild night though. Big fireworks were shot off and police were scrambling over there ?

Just stumbled upon this thread from a couple years back and had to comment. A tailgate party in San Diego? That's awesome! Fiesta Island does sound like the perfect venue for it.

It was definitely an experience, and you're right about the right name for the island!

Agile offroad hosts van meetups there every so often its pretty fun to see 40 or so sportsmobiles with tops poped on the beach

Yea great place to go any weekend and get that driving on the beach feel, can launch jet skis right from the beach
