On Jan. 19 of this year, I updated the SYNC from Build 22200 to Build 22251. I have experienced zero problems with the update.

Today, I upgraded the SYNC to Build 23088 using CyanLabs software. So far, so good.

Unlike some here, I always update to the latest. Build 21098 caused problems with radio audio and Build 21994 fixed the problem.

I'm not saying that Build 22251 is faulty, I never had any problems.

When did 3.4.23088 come out?
It technically hasn't. From what the Ford IVT Escalation team told me today, the 21194 build is currently the latest and most current Ford approved and supported Sync 3 software version. 3.4.23088, as I understand it from their email, is apparently the current engineers unreleased, "in work" version to fix bugs that were introduced into some vehicles with the 22251 build. They did not provide me any details of the bugs, but they apparently were introduced into different models across the entire Ford/Lincoln Sync 3 lineup.

Back in October I updated to sync 3.4.22200 and the web site would never let me upload the xml file to report the install. After seeing the new post i checked the website and it said I had a update to 3.4.22251 where for the past 6 months it was trying to get me to update to 3.4.22000(truck was already on this one). so I went out to the truck and check the version and the truck was already on 3.4.22251. So I put it usb in and let it do it thing. went in the house and again error on the upload of the xml file just like the last two times. I call Ford CC on the last two and never did get a fix for the failed upload. But at least i know that I sill get the current updates even if Ford's web site is wrong. Really wish they would fix the issue. But truck is up to date so it's all good.
