The only thing that I missed at the dealership was the gas cap sticks out just a hair past the body panel and my sales guy said they would take care of that whenever. I'm going to take a look at it first myself and see if I can figure it out cuz it's a simple adjustment screw
Hey Don, congrats! We waited and were rewarded. I hope you love your new truck! I'm busy planning for my wedding (next Saturday!) so I've been offline a little, but I'm really happy to see it arrived. I love the color!

I'll definitely let you know when I head south - maybe we can meet up. Congrats again!

I'm leaning towards trying to fix/adjust anything I might need to be rather than taking it to any dealership. I honestly am scared of what a dealership service department will screw up. I would guess it feels similar to how my dog feels when she has to go to the vets.

It's too bad because most don't join a forum until after they order. Some probably not until they've had their ranger for awhile and then have a question. But people need to do a lot of research on dealerships before they order. Then do all the necessary precautions to make sure there's no debate later. And then what to do when the dealer tries to renig.
I know of one member here, I can't remember their name, that was close to walking away from the deal once their truck arrived and the dealership tried to renig. They asked what to do, and members told them to hold their ground and contact Ford. They ended up getting the original agreed on deal.
Now I know of at least 3 or 4 in just the short time I've been a member of this forum where the dealership tried to pull their crap and the member held their ground and then dealership went back to the original agreement.
But again, it's too bad and sad because I'm sure these dealers are getting away with pulling this on so many that don't post in these forums.

So now the Ford dealer wants to play games and not honor the agreed upon price. Looks like I won't be picking that truck up anytime soon.
Good for you Dan. Iam still "in production" 04/08/2022, no change, no word, 9mouths from order date.
I still have my order with Ford. I have given-up hope on see the ranger.

That is horrible. Can they not even tell you if it is a chip constraint or what is the item that is keeping it from being completed?

Well, I went to another dealer and got a confirmation email within two days, now following up on the COVP. Not sure why the first dealership dragged their feet over easy money - my best guess is they wanted to run out the clock on my current truck then have me buy from the lot. Looks like I'll be on the MY23 support group.

This is starting to become a nuisance with Granger @Zach@granger... The truck is at the dealership and I asked about the bed liner they were going to put in. Making note, this was the second time I asked as my last correspondence went unanswered. They then tell me that the can no longer do the install as they do not have the staff and IMMEDIATELY asked if I wanted to cancel my order and get my deposit refunded (in addition to me having to provide screenshots of our previous e-mails to show that I requested it in the first place, but that's another foul I won't get into). No, I have been waiting on this truck for half a year and ordered because I wanted it. I am not interested in allowing you to get out of your Ford requirement to sell only to me and then sell for much more to someone else.

Now, dealing with finance, I am getting the run around and it's infuriating... I asked about the incentives and was told there were none. I then send a screenshot of the new order incentive and was told it expired in May... I ordered March, to which I replied and sent a link to a good thread on this forum. She then says she sees one for my my address in AZ, but not in CO and they if I registered in CO, they'd have to file and exception through Ford. However, this will be titled in AR and explained all of this in our [saved] e-mails, when I was going through the process.

After much of the above paragraph taking place yesterday, via e-mail, I also had called and left a message for the finance lady to call me back. I also told her in the following e-mail that I called and asked her to call me back. Nothing... So today, I send an e-mail asking what I need to do next as I wanted to get this sorted and pick up the truck and plan my 7-hour drive. Nothing. I'd call, but I already know how that will go.

At this point, I'm looking to just pay cash and tell them to release the truck. Jokes also on them, I was looking to place another vehicle order while I was there. Was...
Certainly frustrating. Can you PM me your information and the finance person you've been dealing with?

I'll do my best to get the issues resolved.
