There is access at the ends for footwell storage. The deck is set as low as it will go without removing any metal. The front edge is supported by a transverse bulkhead that runs from footwell to footwell, up and over the hump. The distance from the hump to the underside of the deck is about 2-1/2”. The larger stock storage area is accessed through the deck. The small stock storage area is used to store the belts and wiring and is unaccessible. The flat deck is held using the stock bench seat anchor points. The back panels use the child restraint anchor points. No new holes were drilled in the truck. The construction is CNC cut 3/4 maple plywood covered in 20oz marine carpet. The carpet is glued on which is what took the longest. It is very solid and can be back to stock in about 20 minutes.

That is cool, I wish there was a way to flip back and forth from that to a seat, I would love that setup, I could keep all my riding gear there!!

If the A/C or heater drops in performance with the windows up, put vents or air access through the rear panels, I'm sure you know the cab vents are behind there.

I didn't, I packed a ton of stuff behind the rear seat, just to find the A/C blew better when I cracked the window, I had to unload some stuff

Should we not be packing a ton of stuff behind the rear seat, mine is jammed full.

Just check the vents, I had blankets and misc stuff packed in front of mine, now I pack behind the back seat so they are clear, which limits how much stuff I can take.

I love it. I wish i could go all the way. I was thinking after seeing seats on ebay for $350 that i might chop mine at 60% so i can use all that other space.

Good morning, Nice job on the rear seat delete. I have done similar mods to a couple of car and trucks. Have you considered making the plans and necessary component information available. Frankly I think this is a salable idea, either plans or complete product. I would certainly pay you for either. Please advise!
