I honestly don't care if either of my daughters ding any of my cars. The daughter who dinged this mirror admitted it without hesitation cuz I don't freak out. You should see my 2011 X5 they started driving in! Lots of great "lessons" all around!
I lost a sister in a car accident 30 years ago. Now if the worst news my daughters have about a car or truck is "I dinged the mirror", that's a suitable price for me to pay to avoid getting "the call".
