Hello guys,
Recently my battery died and jump started it and then went to fully replace the battery with a new one but after doing so the steering wheel control buttons no longer work. I checked the fuse for the sccm and even replaced it and no luck. Any ideas what it can be?

Did you tell the BCM that you replaced the battery?

Not sure why that would effect the buttons but it could.

This method seems to work. I have also read it will reset if the vehicle is off and locked with no load for 8 hours.

  1. Get in vehicle, close doors
  2. Turn on ignition (but don't start)
  3. Wait for battery light to come up
  4. Flash brights 5 times
  5. Press and release brake 3 times
  6. Battery symbol on dashboard should flash after 5-10 seconds
