I have a 2018 Ranger Wildtrak, I am new to Forscan and was having a play and for some reason now my steering controls have swapped sides This was something I never changed so not sure why they switched. I went into Forscan and tried to change them over but for some reason they will not change back.
Can anyone suggest a way to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

By swapping sides, do you mean steering left moves the front wheels right and vice versa? Not sure on Ranger, but on many vehicles you can do a hard reboot by removing both battery cables and then touching them together to restore default settings.

Makes one wonder why there would even be an option to change steering direction.

Well you know the water swirl's in the opposite direction when it goes down the drain when you are down under. And the damper helps you lift the tailgate, also.

I think the OP means that the left button functions; info display menus, cruise control, etc now operate from the right buttons and vice versa. The truck still turns in the direction of the steering wheel.

Well, I did ask OP if steering was reversed and he confirmed. Not inconceivable since steering rack is electric.

He said correct but then also said controls swapped sides. I'm sure it's the latter.

The steering rack is electric assist not full electric. Our trucks are throttle by wire not steer by wire. Now, that would be scary!

I agree!
