I'm old enough to have lived through new ice age, running of oil, polar ice melt flooding, polar bears that don't know how to swim, global warming, climate change...that's not working so let's burn CA and Teslas...that'll fix it...?

You forgot the bit about adding a tax....because that surely will fix it.

I personally would like the new Aptera EV...super aerodynamic, self powered solar and ultra light...but most of all, a real honest approach to EVs...

There is tons of oil underground and sea and hasn’t been touched yet. 60 years is a very low estimate.

My grandfather had 3 oil wells in Oklahoma. They went dry 30 yrs ago. If you happen to drive through west Texas and Oklahoma you will see thousands of wells that aren't pumping or are capped. They are everywhere and only a few are operating. That is the future.

I've been hearing of the Adiabatic Oil Theory for many many years...also, many records of dry oil wells refilling themselves after a decade or so...

Maybe shocked today but the last time I looked the oil reserves in the world will only last another 60 yrs at present consumption. We need to get used to non fossil solutions and move on to bigger and better things.

Yup. It’s literally meant to mean “stain less”. Stainless can still rust and there’s lots of evidence of Cybertrucks already exhibiting rusting and corrosion. And that they may spontaneously die in a car wash or combust in general.

I’m all for EVs, but the Cybertruck is a garbage vehicle produced by a garbage company run by a garbage human.

Interesting numbers......
Takes about 70 lbs of coal to re-charge a 100 watt electric vehicle battery
70 lbs of coal is about equal to 8 gallons of crude oil.
8 gallons of crude oil equates to about 4 gallons of gasoline.
So,
EV's will NEVER be truly "Green" (unless you mount a house size solar panel on the roof)
