All - it is with much sadness that I report to you that I have sold my last Ranger.

FYI - I had 100,330 miles on it. Original brakes and tires.

Issues I had as owner: Interior lights went out at over 100k. A/C went out at over 100k. (Both may have been mice related as I confirmed I had mice problem). That is really the extent of the issues I had.

Guys, when I say I beat the hell out of this truck.. its an understatement. I really did. I hauled stone and wood regularly. Towed trailers and hay wagons. I used it all over my property hauling all kinds of crap (literally) and anything else you might imagine on a farm. I even pulled a tree out... you name it. I recovered many stuck zero turns in the mud... It kept on ticking.... Great little truck. I stress little, cause the family outgrew it when my daughter and her son moved in.

Got a Silverado.

Ill stick around the forums to offer my experience with them. Other than that, Peace out!

Guys, when I say I beat the hell out of this truck.. its an understatement. I really did. I hauled stone and wood many many times. Towed (though not that often). I used it all over my property hauling all kinds of crap (literally) and anything else you might imagine on a farm. I even pulled a tree out... you name it. I recovered many stuck items in the mud... It kept on ticking.... Great little truck. I stress little, cause the family outgrew it when my daughter and her son moved in.

Were you affected by any of the transmission issues that have plagued many Ranger owners?

No, I was not. However, I will say that the tranny didnt like being cold and would shift hard or odd till it was warmed up. It was just something we got used to.

Sold it with the AC and light issues? Sold or traded in on Chevy, more details if you don’t mind.
