Side Marker Light Housing Part#

My passenger side side marker light went out and I recently purchased Led bulb replacements, but when I went to install the new bulb, I discovered a broken wire at the housing (see attached photo) and therefore I'm unable to splice the broken wire together. I therefore believe I need to replace the whole housing which I hope would provide enough wire to splice back into place for the fix. Can anyone tell me the part number for this ?

I'm wrong... the above is not the part I need... I need the part this goes into... e.g., the wiring housing... I'm still looking.

last resort is to try to disassemble that socket to remove the offending wire and solder the new wire into it

Looks strangely like rodent damage. Have you checked for signs of rodents

If you can depin the socket there might be enough wire to make the repair.
I did it on my down stream o2 sensor from rodent damage

Yes, it kind of has that look but they don’t always stop there - ask me how I know.

You may also be able to remove the pin from the socket, crimp on a new pin and re insert it into the existing socket.

Would take a bit of research and sourcing to get the correct pins, as well as the proper crimper. But once you have the proper crimper you can make all sorts of custom connectors and repairs...

It looks like it would be difficult because the broken wire at the socket seems to be incased in an epoxy type hard substance which might then be connected to the pin you are talking about... I would think some type of heat is needed to melt the epoxy without melting the plastic housing itself...
One would think there is a auto parts service that sells wire harness connectors for just this purpose, but I'm yet to find it.

Its fairly easy if you have the tools and done it before, if you havent, then I'd recommend checking with someone who has some experience with wiring.

I can search for the pigtail but need a photo please of the connecter face with the bulb socket removed.
