Btw, I'd recommend anyone installing directly to battery also install some sort of indicator to let you know when lights are on, especially when you have a tonneau...I may or may not have killed a battery
I've had mines in for over 2 years now and they're still as stuck as the first day. I'm actually impressed because I was ready to drill and screw some mounting tabs as it starts to fall off. I got my spray in liner done at a shop so I can't speak for oem.
I have a tonneau cover but since the...
Like an idiot I was trying to clean up my wiring(finally have time)as my previous set up I just tapped into the wires in the kick panels and at the base of front seat belts. I got some speed wire and the for-11ck harness but I lost all audio. The speakers don't play anything and I can't select...
Hit limiter a few times?, but seriously changing the way I drive(laying low because the popo already caught me:bandit:). Up until 5 months ago I was averaging 16.6 mpg. I Cruise controlled my way to 19.1 mpg.
Anyone have luck fitting 34-35" tires with minimal lift(say 2-5" lift)? I've seen the APG wide body with 35s on a 3" lift and it's almost exactly what I like, but not really into the widened stance, it's basically a full-size truck at that point(as the ranger sits now I only have about 2'...
Some of you might flame me for this, but the Ranger looks are more subdue compared to the competition and that's just what I like. No fake vents, odd shapes out of place, it's just refined simplicity.
Only gripe I have is the huge pressed "Ranger" on the tailgate, id like it to be smaller or...
15.5" tall x 3" depth on top 5.25" depth on the bottom x 24" wide, could go wider but would involve a lot more cutting/routing, this measurement is without carpeting, once you put carpet/felt it will not fit so I'd recommend you either sand it down a whole lot or maybe go 0.25" smaller on all...
I pretty much did the same, when I saw the ETA(6 months) it was a no brainer, went to 3 dealerships until I found exactly what I wanted. Ironically it was at the first dealership I went to, but they didn't log it into their inventory, was hiding way back in the lot.
I love EVs just as much as gas vehicles but everything has their place and purpose, it's easier to bring extra gas when you know you're gonna need it, but how you supposed to bring extra batteries?...and now that I type that, I guess you could bring some charged battery powered inverters, but...
If you're planning on doing suspension later down the road just get a FX4, the Tremor is nice and I like the suspension but I'm not a big fan of extra accents and graphics, and I especially don't like where they put the auxiliary switches. But to each their own
I was actually debating on...
So like the title hints, everytime the truck goes into auto stop everything is fine, but once it starts back up my radio gets freakishly loud for a split second(it's like running track and field everytime I hit the breaks the ref starts the race like ??) It just started doing this recently...
Just because you have an Android doesn't mean you have to use Google, if you're that worried. The beauty of Android is the limitless customization, once you figure out how easy it is it can be tailored to you.
Sync has little to no customization, this would definitely be an upgrade.
Too late lol already ordered it:crazy: I don't mind the price much... I only say that not realizing there's a wireless one with a scanner for $40 more :headbang: oh well, It is what it is.
I'm sure I'll get hooked and play with much more settings:giggle: but I don't see any other reason I'd spend $60 for the adapter, I'm okay with everything else the way it is, it's a bonus to change the other little stuff
RetraxPro XR tonneau cover. I like that I can open it without having to open the tailgate, it's lockable, can load over or under tonneau, and keeps everything "relatively" dry. Also I'm still debating on the rack system I want on there (bed is too short for some of my fishing poles) options are...
