NICE TRUCK! What camper shell is that?

It is an ARE. 2nd one out of the mold in Southern California. I've had many Snug-tops in the past and they are a little better quality but I needed one ASAP and ARE was the first to Market back in march. The ARE looks great but it isn't dimensionally square and the design around the rear hatch allows a little water in when it rains. Purchased at Fuller Truck Accessories in Fullerton.

Well it's only been about a month and a half but the rain and snow finally let up today so I managed to gather what tools I have and get these on! They're amazing! So solid and they look great!! Only issue I really had was the provided bolt that was supposed to thread into where the transfer case plate would be just didn't want to go. I'll just pick up a plate bolt from Ford soon. Might even get the plate while I'm at it. Might as well, right?

Those look Great..... By any chance do you have a close up photo of the tread on them... looks to be dimple died???

They look fairly close to the body.... is there a decent amount of area to actually use them for a step? I'm hoping they stick out far enough to help stop door dings and actually work as a decent running board as well.

@PNW_Ranger87, I used the OEM transfer case shield bolt, which works fine in securing the slider.

As to these sliders stopping door dings - I don't think so, as they're too low; additionally, these are decent "steps", but big-foots need not apply.

Oh yeah that's what I'm going to do, I just don't have a transfer case shield so now it looks like it's time to get one!
