Haven’t got around to the floor yet, although I’ve started cleaning it up, and filling in small holes

In addition to tools, workspace, storage space, and great lighting, an almost required addition is a refrigerator and a TV. (A urinal would be great also. :))

OK to prove my point. Here is my little corner of the house! No fridge, but the chest freezer has pushed my big compressor to a spot as yet undetermined. My basement work bench is not much better.

Mine isn't worth posting as it's nothing special, it's to darn hot here to utilize my garage the way I'd like to. Here I just have a basic rollaway toolbox and a cabinet with some of my detail products. The rest I have to keep in the house closet because of the heat. If I had my way my garage would be double the size of my house like the one below. Maybe in a couple years if/when we get out of here.

It’s not necessarily the size of the workshop, but the organizational skills of the person involved. My husband has two huge workshops, one is twice as big as the other. Still, he needs more room. When my dad passed away, I inherited his workshop that he converted from a storage building. I made it clear it was for my “stuff” and for him NOT to clutter it up. I will not post pics.

Additional space is going to be more than overdue for me.

The biggest project is my backyard has a decent slope so I've been digging out the area by hand to save a couple of bucks and shifting earth from the front to the rear and installing a block retaining wall. The pad will be 2-4" crusher run.

I'm also sometime this summer make a second gate on the opposite side of the house and put a crusher run pad down for my patrol car. My daughter starts driving in less than 2 years and our driveway will fit four cars.... if they were all mini-coopers. =/
