Does anyone happen to know what this Delphi marked sensor might be that’s dangling from the backside of the interior door release handle? Had to unplug it to get the panel of when preparing for sound deadening.

I believe it is the Intelligent Access Sensor.

Probably is part of the security system. Senses if window is down and or door ajar. Looking up the part number I could make out doesn’t have anything come back as remotely obvious.

isnt that the door lock switch right above it? likely for it???
Hmmm, they look like they might mate. Maybe it is the Intelligent Access Sensor as mentioned by @JKocot but maybe it's only plugged in when the keyless start option is installed? Maybe it's just clipped into a holder in case it can be a dealer installed option?

Odd. Piqued my curiosity, for sure.

I could be wrong, but the connector for the power door lock looks to be next to the connector the OP is asking about. I know on the Lariat, there are four Intelligent access sensors, one one each door.
