Hello all. Looking for any input on the subject problem with my 2019 Ranger Lariat Supercab. With key FOB in my pocket, the driver-side door of my 2019 Ranger opens with no problem, but recently the passenger side does not. It will open by pressing the associated button on the key fob, but not when the key is in proximity to the door. I have tested this with both key fobs, so I'm not thinking fob battery is the issue. I do have an extended high-end Ford extended warranty with the vehicle, but I'm unsure if this issue is covered and would rather not deal with Ford on this unless I absolutely have to, which is not the case as I'm able to open the door manually with the key fob. Does the brain trust have any idea where the problem is and how I can address this outside of the stealership?

It's most likely the trucks battery. My '19 did the exact same thing and when I brought it to the dealer the battery was on its way out. Once replaced they all worked good again. Most of the time I don't drive a lot of miles so since then I keep it on a battery maintainer and that's helped keep the battery topped off.

x2. I had the same issue with my 19 crew cab after I had plugged in the BMS plug. Unplugged the BMS, and allowed the battery to charge which solved the problem.
