Hereā€™s a few more photos from SEMA today , although I couldnā€™t get back to the Ford booth to capture more images of the lowered yellow Ranger, I was tied up with the many rangers located at the southHall 2nd floor (overlanding section)! I have to say most of the vehicles being modified was the Jeep Gladiator! But The ranger came in 2nd! mom excited for the new Icon setups, AFE cold AI system, more options for bed racks and coming soon more roof racks systems to bolt on.

Also I like the RKsports fender flares, much more stream lined towards the front bumper, and they thought of adding a piece for the fuel door. It will only come as a fiberglass finish.

@PatrickM did you happen to come across the Rangers done by APG or PaxPower? They both have widebody Ranger Raptor conversions. I would really love to see their work.

PaxPower has their truck at the BajaKits booth in Upper South Hall. APG's is at the Treadpass entrance at booth V934. Multi-angle close up porn shots would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry but I don't really see anything new or innovative that hasn't been copied/pasted on other platforms for the past decade...was hoping someone would have some creative bed solutions and such...lot of fabrication, little product design...

It's a pickup up truck. What more do you need it to do? It's basically been utilized for the same general activities for the past 100 years. o_O

I think, perhaps, youā€™re missing the point? The fact that companies are now producing, old or new designed, products for the Ranger is what we should take away from all the builds. These companies, like us, see the Ranger as a major competitor in the aftermarket, specifically the overland niche, and are investing in the platform.

Itā€™s impressive that less than a year from launch a lot of companies are producing products; more products on the market equals more competition, and competition means fairer prices.

Iā€™m excited for whatā€™s here and for whatā€™s to come.

I used to do SEMA back in the later nineties-early two thousands for several years and was astounded of the displays.
But, after the third day and having walked one hundred miles one gets weary of seeing psychedelic colored wiper blades and wood grain dash inserts made from all species of flora known to man.
At least there was the drags @ LVMS to look forward to...
