Hi all i‘m about to seal my bed from water and dust in preparation for a camper has anyone done this any tips? I’m planning on using butyl tape, sika flex and foam. I’ve seen videos mostly on tacomas but any experience with the ranger bed? Thanks!

Im not worried about the tailgate since I’m getting an alucab which does a tailgate delete. I’m more curious if anyone has had trouble in the tub or under the bed rails? But ill check these out thanks

I was originally concerned about this as well because I sleep in there, I asked for a higher quality seal be used between the truck and topper and then decided to try it to see, a tiny bit of dust gets in near the tail gate but not much at all. I do sleep on a platform and have a rubber Matt under that and live in a dusty dry area. I would say, if you haven’t done it already, try a run first to see if it’s worth trying to seal, maybe I got lucky or it may be the platform etc that helps?
