I have a buddy in Alberta with a '19 Super Crew Lariat Ranger 4x4 and he tows a Jayco 18 RMB which is 24' LOA with a GVW of 5500lbs. He drags it all over Alberta to the provincial parks and says it tows really well. He has yet to feel like the truck isn't enough. His assessment of the truck is what made me take a look at a Ranger in the first place.

I towed a forrest river 207BH for a few hundred miles, it was fine(3500# dry, single axle). I now tow a Keystone Passport 2920BH which is much larger, and heavier. It still tows pretty good. I did buy a set of fox shocks and some Sumo Springs to calm the rear down as the FX4 shocks like to be a little "boaty".

No trouble with power at any speed from the 6300# 2920BH. I have about 5000 miles towing this trailer at the end of the year last year.

I pull a Jayco Jayflight 174bh baja edition around California with no issues, it weights about 3300lbs. I haven't towed it since I added the Fox 2.0 to it, but will be doing a lot of camping in the mountains this summer. I have a WD hitch with sway control also.

I only pull this which is less that 3k lbs. with 40 gallons of fuel and gear onboard and no trailer brakes. To be honest I barely know it is back there.

Thanks guys yes that is the general consensus I’m getting is that this should be the perfect tow rig for my size camper. And yes the FX4 shocks are a little floaty which I’m really liking right now just driving it around, we’ll see how they feel towing.

Fox shocks fixed the boat feeling entirely. I’m still trying to get my old bumpstops out so I can install my sumo springs.
