Small update, overall MPG is showing increases which is nice. New cover has been installed so I get to see how long this will last. Last time at the track I seem to have figured out a rough ET of 10 sec up to 10.5, of course the driver still needs seat time my tree reaction is abysmal..lol!

Sorry for the picture heavy post I'll try and find the rest of my fuel receipts to do a stats for nerds here soon.

Hahah! I heard the south east NA is getting cold temps of 87 degrees this weekend! The wife and my furry co-pilot are going to go play in the snow at the cabin this weekend.

Babb MT received 55", we received a little over a foot, and twenty miles south by the cabin in the "actual" mountains they received 10"...lol!

Awesome decor and great costumes!
Thank you, we try to do different set ups every year, next year I've had requests that I do my tunnel again and put on my "Peter Rotten Tail" costume. All I can say is, you get what you asked for! We only have two simple rules, you must make it to the Butcher shop, and you must say the words "Trick or Treat!". Every year we have those that will not even get out of vehicles...lol!

Manager at my store brought by his 91 XLT. He's pretty self conscience on the appearance of his vehicles but he let me take some pictures even though his pickup wasn't cleaned up...lol!

Looking forward to your light/siren install! I have a 42-output Gen1 Whelen Cantrol sitting in a box waiting for some lights and a speaker to plug into it! Hopefully starting my two-way radio install next week, committing to the permanent NMO roof mount right out of the gate lol

Decrease in fuel mileage is due to winter driving conditions as well as more in town driving.

Yesterday had the Ranger in for oil change and recall work. Seat belt and wiring harness checked out good from what I can see on the slip. I seem to be the only person in this area that uses Ford points. Still nagging my Ford Parts guys for a trailer brake controller but still not seeing anything come through yet.

Today I sent in my oil to Blackstone Labs. 6k miles on the engine with 5k miles on the oil. Looking to see if the drag racing on the 1/8 has put fuel in the oil. I had plenty of break in time before I took it to the track so I'm not expecting there to be but I would rather catch it now rather then later. Getting ready for some light towing in the spring to haul water out to the cabin again.

Finally have time this weekend to install the head unit for my siren/lights. Excited to finally be able to run some wire down the truck and get the lights set up. New mud flaps and sill guards will be installed as well if I have time.

Unfortunately was unable to do any work on the truck this last weekend. Received bad news from the oil testing, my sample was lost during shipping. Will have to see if I can file a claim for cost of the sample testing that I pre-paid for.

Episode 3 Season 6 Drama!

Had a "little" bit of wind this weekend. 85mph + while on my trip to watch my niece wrestle. On my way there ran into low visibility due to dust and completely sand blasted my windshield. Fires on the secondary route back home forced me to make a run North later in the day and on my way out of town I had a bit of trouble with my tonneau cover.

Unloaded, rolled down, and secured, I heard a "thwump"... Looking back the tonneau cover was inside the bed instead of on top. Fighting wind I rolled up the tonneau nearly ripping off the nail on my ring finger. Quarter of the tabs on the tonneau are sheared off the driver side railing is twisted and bowed. Made it home safely though.
