I’m not on track for a 2/17 delivery, which is in 7 days. My truck hasn’t even shipped yet.

How many days until your truck went from “in production” to “awaiting shipment”? And then to “in transit”?

Here's the updates I received from my dealer - not sure the actual time stamps or dates on all of them, I included times for the ones I know, the others are when he notified me.

In Production / Sent to Plant - 01/24/19
Produced - 01/30/19
Awaiting Shipment - 1/31/19
In Transit - 2/1/19
Passing Griffith, IN - 2/4/19
Passing Missouri Valley, IA - 2/5/19
Passing North Platte, NE - 2/6/19 00:52 CT
Passing Cheyenne, WY - 2/8/19 03:09 MT
Passing Ogden, UT - 2/9/19 11:09 MT

Ordered my truck 8/25/18. Blend date 1/10/19. The Ford tracker has had my truck in every category multiple times. It's been produced, its awaited shipment, it's been in transit and back again. Yesterday it went from in transit to back in production.

My advice for the inpatient is to not follow the tracker. It's not good for your health!

Now that I found out my truck has been waiting for a auto rack, with no hope in site. What would they say if I just flew up there and drive the dam thing home and have a nice road trip.

Many years ago you could negotiate pickup at the plants, but no more. I think the only plant in the US that allows pickup is the Corvette plant in KY.

My dealer made this request. The answer was a resounding, not going to happen.

I figured as much. I know how the railroad is. If it is this bad for getting cars, it might be another 2 months before it gets here.

A few months ago we had an auto rack car get damaged in the yard. It was loaded with F-150's. None of the F-150's were damaged inside. But the car needed repair so they had to wait on parts. That auto rack sat at the rip track 2 months before they came out and transloaded it to another one.

Everyday we came to work and saw that auto rack, I thought man the people that own these trucks must be hot waiting for there's to show up. Now I know with this experience they probably have no idea what happened.

I have an estimated delivery date of 7 April 2019. Right after I get back from my cruise. Haven't decided if I'm trading in my 2012 Fusion or keeping it as a back up. Not sure I want to put my Bernese Mountain Dog Mitchell in the new truck yet.
