Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Thanks for that information. Since the last digits are a build sequence, does it make any sense that mine would be 8302 when others are reporting a much higher value? Or would the build sequence be different for each body type code?

VIN is not related to a build sequence, that's what the blend date is for (located on your window sticker).

@rangerdanger it's official, I'm sticking with Lighting Blue and have a VIN (KLA24231) and build week of 3/11 for my lariat. Go ahead and remove the XLT!

Yes, ordered 12/13 Rec'd Vin today. could have been issued 1/17 not sure. Lariat supercab FX4. build week of 3/18

The dealer said Feb 18 was the build date....I'm not sure about that....seems waaaaay too soon to me, but who knows

Looks like someone scratched out March 18th on your order form. That's more believable than Feb 18.

I think so too. He said mine will be the first Ranger they get. I dunno. Time will tell....

Hey, so it didn’t work for me. But the manager said it was because my last name was screwed up. Dealership ended up taking the hit hoping to get paid back later. Guys at Bob Thomas West are definitely a no BS type of place. Really great overall. I’m sure it will work for you. Also yeah, dealership said they are expecting more rangers very very soon.
