Where I live there are many asshats who run red lights, maybe I need one for my Mojave.
Light power just isn't enough. I need horn power too. I live in an area where people will intentionally cause an accident and swear it was your fault.

I was backing out of a parking spot (blinded by 2 trucks - I was in a mustang) and some dude plowed into me at 35 mph. I could hear him accelerate to hit me. I was cited for "reversing without safety".

Similar situation just happened again recently but, I saw him coming. I threw it in drive and floored it to get back in my parking spot. The dick literally tried to swerved at me to make contact. Sorry to disappoint MF'r but I learned to look. Backup cameras and sensors help too. Didn't have that back then.

I need that horn,, and I'm willing to sacrifice what little hearing I have left to stop some mindless dipshit from caving in the side of my truck (after all the work I've put into it).

I was debating my future tire & wheel setup...

1. Stay with my 18's
-OR-
2. Go with 17's

The 17" wheels ($1000 - ebay) and the tires to go with it ($1350)...
-OR-
Just replace my Grabbers with an identical set of Grabbers ($800)

Seemed like a no-brain'r so I took the deal.

Now,,, they're gonna sit in my garage for @ 6 months until my current set needs to be tossed out.

The 17” roush bronco/ranger wheels are the ones I’m going with.. and 295/70r17 grabber x3’s..
They will look good.. but the black oem roush wheels on your roush ranger I think will maintain that nice contrast you have going on… also it’s much less expensive to buy just tires, then wheels and tires…
Maybe pick up a matching spare if the oem roush ranger wheels..

I wanted to go 17's with the Roush Iridium wheels. I could have shaved 20 pounds per wheel/tire. But this deal was too good to pass up.

Yeah, I'm debating whether I want 35's on my Gladiator or not due to the weight increase. Thinking so, but still it already has 33's
Right now (with the new tune) I'm getting @ 12 mpg avg.

I would love to drive my truck with 20# lighter wheels/tires to see how much it would affect my mpg's and my 0-60 acceleration.

But,,, I saved $700, so that idea is gonna have to wait...

I have those Roush rims and love them
and 285/75/17 summer gas mix I get 20/22mpg but ave. 21mpg winter no matter loaded or empty in two years have never dipped below 17.5mpg (and since that was only once I bet it was a bad tank of gas)

My truck, gets about 15 mpg in the city, but I only drive about 10 mins to work so no big deal. That is stock mind you. Gladiator weighs about 500lbs more than the Rangers, if I go 35 's it will be probably add at least another 100lbs if not more. loving the Fox 2.5's though

I will get those wheels.

..."After" I burn up this 2nd set of 18" Grabbers.

That was my struggle with this purchase...
Switch to 17's for @ $2400 or just replace 18" tires for @ $1400.

Then,,, AT slashed the price by 50%

That pretty much made the decision for me.

But I will get those wheels.

12 mpg! WTF thats crazy and I dont think 20lbs tires are the issue
if that was the case I would leave my 107lbs dog home, tell my 125lbs girlfriend she is now costing me to much LOL a full tank of gas at 8 lbs per gal is 150 lbs, and with my 285/75 and 2000lbs behind me I still ave 18 no tune is worth 5mpg! I took a 3000lbs trailer to Denver in a V6 explorer and got 12 and I kind of understood that being the engine had 1/4 of a million miles on it .....
I havent noticed any acceleration hits, I am over 100 at least once a week and race other vehicles and havent been beat yet....
