I'm afraid to add up the receipts,,, but I'm pretty sure I surpassed Raptor dollars a while ago.

Exhaust - $2k
Intake(s) - $850
Underhood junk - $500
Linkswell - $2k
Exterior junk - $1k
Off road lighting - $1750
Interior junk - $350
2022 Ranger XLT (loaded) - $43k
Roush Post Title package - $14.6k
@ $63.5k +/- ??????‍??

I'll be covering any location on my truck that needs a chip repaired. But I will NEVER be able to recoup my investment. I'm stuck with this truck till death. I'm ok with that. It's been a pleasure so far...
Cheaper than a woman, in both financial terms and heartache! I wouldn't regret it all, you have a truck that's fast and unique.

Did you get a deal on the Roush truck from the dealership before you modded?

I did. Got it with 7700 miles on it. Then drove off the lot in Killeen, TX (no mods) straight to Daytona Beach, FL and finished in Mission, TX. About 2400 mile round trip. I got home and started throwing money at it. And yes,,, it is less expensive and less headache than my bitch stripper exGF.

Suspension!

...BUT you should do what you want

I like your choice of 3.5 inches. seems the highest to go and not be silly
I really want the suspension...

But the drivers around me are really, Really, REALLY bad ! They will sideswipe you without a care in the world. They don't know (or care to know) how to use mirrors or turn signals. I've had 3 "near miss" sideswipe attempts in the past 2 weeks. It's like I'm invisible out there. They decide to switch lanes,,, they turn the wheel and slide over into the other lane,,, with never a thought to look at a mirror or use a signal. And the factory horn has NO impact at all.

I have 2 HornBlaster electric horns that I'm going to mount behind my grill and wire in with my factory horn. It should double the output of the factory horn with a deeper tone. Then,,, I plan to mount the HornBlaster Stealth Spare Tire Delete Kit underneath wired to a momentary switch on my panel. The 5 gallon kit will allow me 10-12 seconds of pain with HornBlasters loudest train horn set. That WILL grab their attention. It should make corpses shit their casket. AND,,, I could buy 3 of them for less $$$ than the suspension.

Plus,,, the suspension would require intensive saving,,, till like February. Not my strongest attribute. I don't have the patience or self control needed to wait that long. BUT,,, I could order the Horn Kit tonight and have it in my garage within a week... where it will sit for a month waiting on an appointment with my installer.

Plus,,, I see no indication that the assholes around here are going to start driving normal any time soon...

1st strip of PPF down to protect my tonneau cover from my FU light. I've never attempted this before. It's adequate for protection but would look like shit at a car show. Good thing I don't do car shows. I'll get better with each one...

2nd, 3rd, & 4th PPF pieces applied. I didn't bother to buff out my scratch repair. I'm about to cover it in PPF and sit two 300# magnets on top of it.

I'll have both bars (roof & FU) mounted by this evening. Then,,, test drive 1 week & re-evaluate.

I just realized,,, if I throw this train horn at my truck I'll hit $65k. Then the suspension (2026) will push it past $70k. Then the speakers/amps/subs will get it to $73.5k. Then new tires will get me to $75k... ???

...and CarMax offered me $30k

I request to be buried in my truck. You all saw it. It's official.

Sounds good to me! Are you going to keep your Roush rims? What tire size?

I think I'm going with the 17" Iridium Grey wheels Roush puts on Broncos. And 285/70R17 Toyos (33"). They're light tires at 46 pounds each. And I like that the Iridium's have the Roush name machined into the wheel. Close to a $2500 investment. But I'll bet they ride nice.

But I will never sell the original wheels. They will stay with the truck if I ever sell it. Or in my garage for as long as I keep it. Which will likely be forever... since nobody alive would pay me a respectable amount for such a custom vehicle.

The roof bar wouldn't aim right so I had to change the bracket. It sits ³/¹⁶" higher. But I can aim it horizontal now. I was afraid all the light was just gonna land on my hood.

I didn't like the way the magnets were sitting on the FU bar so,,, I cut up new brackets. Now, I like it.

....and the wind noise at 65 mph is so bad that I'm about to scrap the whole idea. I just drove 17 highway miles and that's it ! I'm ripping it off. I'll return the bar. LMK if any of you want the magnetic brackets I made. What an epic waste of time.... I should've just gone with the train horn instead.
