I have a rough country 2.5” lift in the front and n3 shocks in the rear. I like to browse the RC website every once in a while because I’m a cheap a** and came across the v2 and m1 rear shocks. Just wondering if anyone has input on the ride quality differences between all three shocks. The n3 ride decent but aren’t the greatest (didn’t expect much from $100 shocks) so maybe one of those two would be upgrades to the n3?

You know whats great about rough country? They already tell you how the ride is going to be in the name. ROUGH!! Not trying to be mean but with the people I have spoke with I haven't heard good thing with Rough Country. My thoughts? Buy a good quality shock. Not wanting to go crazy with Fox or Old Man EMU? That's fine. There are options like Eibach and Bilstein that will do the trick without breaking the bank.

I started with RC N3s - BIG improvement over Fx4
Changed to Bilstien 5100, better - yes. but the RCs where fine.
Main reason I upgrade was I want to get the 5100s in front as well.
Again an improvement but the rears are like 80% of the issue on Fx4s. BUT the Bilstien fronts are height adjustable.

If you done have an Fx4 I cant say how much better these shocks will be, but they will be better than stock.
