I just inverted my Rear shocks on the Ford Fox 2.0 Leveling suspension kit after talking to FOX technichian about how the shocks should be mounted tube up as they are single wall.

Q: How many of you are using the Fox roost shields or other boots (Name them) on your rear shocks?

I’m using roost guards on my Falcon shocks. They were included with the shocks. Seeing how both Fox and Falcons are monotubes, I’m surprised Fox doesn’t include them for protection.

I have the Fox Roosts on Fox shocks. Amazon’d them. Happy so far. Easy install/cheap bit of protection.

Are your shocks mounted shaft down or body down?

What keeps them from filling up with dirt and mud ?
They are not enclosed/tubular. A half-shield.

No issues yet; just left the pressure washer after an ORV park and there was little behind them (no build up)
