  1. Look at that damage... any idea how much it will cost? ?

That’s it. Looks good to me.
  2. Look at that damage... any idea how much it will cost? ?

It’s painful. Had the same thing happen; taillight and rear bumper. $3.5k. Most of it the safety-enhanced light. If I had a do over - I would have gone to an after market bumper. I regret not changing over to an ARB rear bumper at the time. Cheaper and stronger.
  3. Rustproofing?

In the Detroit area I took my ‘19 to a Krown rust prevention shop and have been happy with the results so far; admittedly it’s only been a few years. It’s a more intrusive process (small holes to access the A/C pillars, Ned/behind the taillights, and door frame). Cheap relative to the potential...
  4. Michigan Sold: FX4 Front and Rear Shocks w/ Rough Country 3.5” lift spacers and block

Selling the stock FX4 front and rear shocks with Rough Country’s 3.5” lift Front spacer and rear block (1”). 4,500 miles on them. Good condition. Clean. Truck rides well with them; reduced the FX4 sogginess without being rigid. $75. Southeast Michigan pick up or meet up only please...
  5. Regretting my new tires

I have Falken Wildpeak AT3s E rated. 265/70/17 I like the tires generally; they look good, dirt/mud/snow performance is excellent, and they’re silent at 5,000 miles. Still...had I done better research I would have gone with C rated. I got them during a dealership deal week and wasn’t worried...
  6. Fuel in oil

Update: back at the dealership for high oil level. Seems it wasn’t the fuel vapor valve.
  7. Did you order your wheels and tires or did a shop have the wheels and tires in stock?

That has been my experience, at least with the dealership. Wheels, tires, access, etc came from a nearby centralized storage center. Usual the next day.
  8. Fuel in oil engine build date

    October 2019. Has the issue.
  9. Fuel in oil

FWIW - I had a similar experience; nice but not of much help when it came to action at the dealership (which were helpful on their end). Customer care eventually told me it wasn’t truly their issue, and to call the warranty folks to open a case. That seems to have helped more; they authorized...
  10. Fuel in oil

I’ll throw this out, not knowing yet if it was the issue: a couple of weeks ago the check engine light came on. Fuel vapor valve (fuel tank sensor) was the culprit. Slow fail; ultimately a simple valve replacement. I was concurrently in discussion with Ford warranty on the oil level problem. A...
  11. Seat cover recommendation?

We have GoFia and like them. Durable and they fit well.
  12. Nav Screen Protector?

I installed one. Glad I did. Cheap and easy protection against scratches, and it masked a bit of Armor All overspray spotting on the gauge display. Large scuffs of course but I think the biggest benefit is protection against long term dirt/dust micro-scratches that come from trails and...
  13. Fuel in oil

Sorry to hear. Presuming your path toward repair is as rocky and unsupported as the rest of us, I recommend opening a case with Ford sooner than later. May help when the dealership engages and cannot get Ford to authorize a repair because there is no error code. The warranty team was more...
  14. Fuel in oil

Same trend here. Three oil changes in 1500 miles and its above max fill dot again. 7000 miles total. Dilution was 1.5% at 600 miles of use; high for the duration. I will test again at 2000. Dealership claims Ford won’t allow additional testing or a fix because it’s not throwing a code. The...
  15. 2021 Ranger TREMOR Off-Road Package Revealed

I’m a fan. Pound for pound it seems price reasonable given what you get (and what you don’t have to do yourself; warrantied labor is worth something). My standards may be lowered given many of us thought the Tremor would be little more than a B&O stereo upgrade, but I say kudos to Ford for...
  16. Which bed rack will work with 3-fold hard bed cover from ford

Max Voodoo universal rack is claimed to work when used with their tonneau hard cover bracket. They have photos of an F150 with the set up. I have the BakFlip trifold from Ford as well. Ordered Voodoo’s test bracket. Didn’t work well for me. It fits between the bed and the cover rail, but...
  17. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Put a bouncy flag on it and drove over dirt hills at the new ORV park. One of a handful of Rangers amongst a sea of nice looking Jeeps.
  18. Roost Shields on Fox Rears

They are not enclosed/tubular. A half-shield. No issues yet; just left the pressure washer after an ORV park and there was little behind them (no build up)
  19. Roost Shields on Fox Rears

    Body up/top.
  20. Roost Shields on Fox Rears

I have the Fox Roosts on Fox shocks. Amazon’d them. Happy so far. Easy install/cheap bit of protection.
