hmmm. I feel like getting an OS sensor for the inevitable. Never had a vehicle where it didn't eventually go. Lots of commonly needed parts there. It's tempting to load up.

The ranger is so tough and dependable even the parts guy has to clear his inventory some how!

Just stocked up on oil filters - with shipping came to almost exactly $5 per filter, which is just a little cheaper (less than $1) than I can get them locally, but now I'll have a bunch sitting on the shelf in the garage and won't have to worry about whether my local store has one in stock.

Since both our vehicles take the same filter, I bought a case of them (12) a while back. Before shipping they were a little over $3 each - I forgot what shipping was, but it wasn't too bad, especially when divided by 12. With these filters and the Costco synthetic oil I can change my oil for a little over $20!!!!

Too late to the party. Only 6 oil filters left, not a deal with shipping...
I just looked mine up. For 12 filters shipped it was $45.63, so that works out to $3.80/filter - seems like a pretty good deal to me. I checked Amazon and they had them for $3.97 so maybe not the killer deal I was thinking of, but O'Reilly has them listed for $10.99, so in that case, the $3.80 looks pretty good.

Yeah I put 10 in my cart to start and it gave me a no inventory message. With only 6 left it worked out to around $5.50 each. Amazon is the best bet now, provided they don't send me used ones lol.

I did the case (not individual) - they are a bit cheaper ($3.73 each vs $4.10 individually). I honestly don't trust Amazon to send the correct auto parts after some of the horror stories I've heard. I have enough oil and filters for quite a while now.
