Removing Part or All of Center Console 2019 XLT

Morning,

A few days ago I bought a coffee in the cover wasn’t on as tight as it should’ve been and coffee spilled onto the center consul where the shifter is located. It’s driving me crazy that coffee seeped into the console and I would like to clean it. How difficult is it to remove? I just want to be able to get in there enough to wipe it down etc.

I've never taken apart a Ranger interior, but I did on a 2015 Flex I used to have. I had left the sunroof open during a thunderstorm and all sorts of gremlins popped up in the center stack electronics, but had no affect on the center console hardware. Based on that experience, I'd say the whole center stack-floor console assembly is probably interlocking, meaning you would need to take apart a lot more than you think to get to the area you want. I started by looking online at parts fiches and YouTube how-to's.
If it was me, as long as everything is working properly, I'd leave it alone and just clean any visible carpet stain with a good carpet cleaner.

While in the Biz, I found that using glass cleaner in a spray foam can would free up and clean sticky switches from spilt beverages.
Just spray and let soak in. Things come apart to clean much easier.

Buy yourself a yeti, i have ocd and a spill would make me nuts. I once pulled ft bucket seats to properly steam clean the obstructed carpet.
