Does anybody have the WeatherTech rollup cover? I have it on my 2019 XLT and I’m ready to rip the thing off and burn it. The clips continually loosen and fall off no matter how I install them. I generally think WeatherTech products are very good, but to me this rollup cover is complete trash...
Morning,
A few days ago I bought a coffee in the cover wasn’t on as tight as it should’ve been and coffee spilled onto the center consul where the shifter is located. It’s driving me crazy that coffee seeped into the console and I would like to clean it. How difficult is it to remove? I just...
Thanks for the info. I think running boards are a must as a bit of protection. There seems to be no paint damage so I assume a good dent removal place can clean it up.
And people laugh at me for not taking my Mustang to certain places I know this crap will happen.
Two shopping carts planted on my driver side door just now. I hope the people that did this rot alive and then suffer in the afterlife. Here I am always making sure any cart I use gets put away so it can’t roll. What’s the point of trying to keep a vehicle nice? Second car payment second hack on...
Looks like I have lots of company. Again, people suck!
I’m in the Boston area so I’ve seen a lot. The fact is there are a lot people that think it’s no big deal. I’ve had several people tell me that’s nothing, it’s just a scuff.
I called my favorite body shop on the south shore and I’ll have...
Agreed! A door ding is one thing, but hitting a car and no note? I couldn’t live with myself.
Anyway, called my favorite body shop and they’re gonna look at next week.
So I come out of my house today and notice something that must have happened a couple of days ago. Driver’s side corner of front bumper.
They cracked the clear on the front nose piece. The bumper scratches are too deep to buff out. It looked worse before I cleaned off the white paint. I swear...
So today I tried to repeat the issue and it wouldn’t do it. I guess laying off the gas right before getting to the top of the hill confused the transmission.
Same thing yesterday here in the Boston area. Very light snow/flurries and the thing went off in a parking lot. All this sensor stuff is new to me and it always freaks me out. I shut it off.
Thank you for the response. I feel like it might be the transmission getting confused as well. I haven't tested it on other hills because I forgot about until this morning. I'll test it this afternoon and see if it's happening on other hills too. For the most part it seems like this one hill so...
I've noticed on a steep hill. When I get to the top of the hill and let off the gas and then hit the accelerator to continue on, the transmission bucks. I'm not hearing any noise. Otherwise the truck has been fine. Anybody have this issue?
Thanks!
Installed a Weathertech roll up cover and Bushwacker sill guards. Disappointed in the Weathertech cover. One of the rails was badly bent and chipped down to bare metal in a number of places. I emailed them to see what they say about it. Weathertech mudflaps are next.
How is the kit? Thinking of getting it myself before winter sets in. I’ve done some clear bra pieces on my Mustang that didn’t come with the pro-install. It’s not that difficult for smaller to medium size pieces.
I’ve had a clear bra on my 2014 Mustang since day one and it still looks brand new.
I just got my order of the Weatherbeater Husky liners and I love them. They cover everything and like how they overlap the sill to keep dirt off the edges of the carpet. I have them for my Mustang too.
A couple of pics. My first truck and I have to say I love it. I'm still learning all the bells and whistles. This weekend we head up to Vermont and I'm looking forward to the cruise.
I had to add my whole Ford family in the pics.:)
