The best way to get rid of swirl marks is with a buffer. Use some light compound and then a good polish and it will be like brand new. There are many Youtube videos showing you how to do this and the low speed polishers are basically full proof now. Some like Adams products, Griots and Mothers. Either of those will get you great results. I think I have a few videos saved and I'll link them soon.

Here's a good one to start with showing you step by step on how to polish. All the products are listed in the description.

Pan has a lot of good detailing videos. Some get a little dragged out but he does go into very good detail on how to do it so they get pretty long. You can click on his name and search for more videos that he's done. These two should give you the basics on how to compound and polish. The key is go slow and very light pressure and let the machine and compound/polish do the work.

It's never too early for clay but swirls aren't what clay is addressing; clay takes contaminates off the clear coat and makes it smooth again. @AzScorpion has you on the path to correcting swirls.

Clay won't get swirls out, only polishing with a DA buffer will.

Always start with the gentlest approach (Pad and compound) and do test sections.

If you've never used a DA polisher and compound. Always start with the least aggressive polish first. Better to take more time to get the swirls out than get over aggressive. If you are only doing a small section like a single panel, swirls come out very easy by hand. May take a bit more time, but still can be achieved.
