Mike - there are a number of members here with IT / E-Commerce backgrounds and expertise. We know you are working on getting a website up and running, but feel free to reach out if you would like any advice and/or help with minimizing costs for whatever platform you set up. eBay is certainly convenient, but as you've learned you PAY for that convenience. There are MUCH cheaper options out there, which are still pretty convenient once set up.

I happen to be a fan of setting up a Virtual Private Server with NameCheap.com (~$65/year), installing WordPress (free) and using WooCommerce plugin (basic is free, some add-ons cost $10-20/year). Hook that up to a Stripe account to process payments, and you wind up being charged around 2.5%ish / transaction. The rest goes into your bank account.

WooCommerce is smart enough to figure out real-time accurate shipping quotes and calculate taxes, etc.

The above setup does require some expertise, but as I said: I'm *certain* there are members here who would be willing to step in to help get things off the ground for you.

I'm most of the way through getting the site up with Shopify, don't know if that was a good choice or not.

For those waiting & getting ready these are the tools I used for removal & install with access through the wheel opening in able to break loose the super torqued on factory dipstick cap.
Edit: If you have never checked your fluid & your cap is on as tight as mine & others on here have been, you may want to take some time & brake it loose before your FitzStick arrives. Get some aggravation out of the way now. The install will then be a breeze.

Hey, I'm looking for product pics, good quality, not shaded or bright sun, indoors is probably the best, whatever you got, the under hood shot primarily, showing the handle and bracket, just so you are aware they may be used for the website, they all will become a MBS customer photo album. I hope to eventually get to a customer testimonial page.

My truck needs a bath under the hood, I guess this would be a good time to clean it and take some quality pics, but the Mustang is in the garage with a dead battery, and my garage does not have the best lighting, and the truck wont fit in the shop.

I would even take some of the product laid out, I dont have any product right now, go figure, I sold it all

Did you remove the wheel?

No just turn sharp right. Then remove two plastic rivets & fold the flap up out of the way. This give access above the exhaust.

Mine arrived today. Was there when I got home from my second cataract surgery. With this and problems with the first eye done it will be sitting in the box for a couple weeks. Then hopefully I can get some good pics.

But here is the problem, I'm trying to do it right, above board, pay the taxes and such, but it's complicated, I to have to figure out which business accounting program to sign up for (more fees) that will calculate and pay all the different tax rates for every city, state and county that I sell to, that is the good thing about ebay, you just get a report, easy, ebay used to be great.

Hey @Fitzmotor, Look at Xero. Pretty inexpensive plans, not too hard to learn and use.

Also, and this may be somewhat controversial. But I say you make your price $199, and I think a lot of those here would agree.

At least charge me that.
