:LOL::LOL:

I have been trying out the seat warmers the past couple weeks and I'm starting to get use to them. When you remote start your truck they automatically come on but on high so as long as I remember to turn them down to low I'm ok with them otherwise about a mile down the road my butts on fire! :devil:
They come on even with remote start? Did you have it set up to use the last-known settings?

When I use remote start, they only come on if I used them the last time I used the truck (both remote and regular start).

But yeah, love my heated seats. I actually also use them in summertime if I have a sore back, it's great :D

No I always turn them off when I get to work in the morning and when I leave it's nice out so no heat or seats on. I'm thinking it has something to do with the temp setting because usually I set it to 80* and the seats are on when I remote start. The other day I forgot to raise the temp (it was down to 74) and the next morning the seats were off when I remote started. Either that or it's possessed and does whatever it wants.:devil:

I'm thinking the latter :LOL:

@AzScorpion - Is it possible it is temperature/weather related? This morning I got in my car and I noticed the driver's seat warmer was actually on, as was the rear window heater. It was about 60 degrees, and my rear window (as were all my others) were entirely fogged up. I normally don't touch that rear window heater and I'm pretty sure I didn't have my seats on last night either...

I really have no idea,I guess it would help if I ever read a owners manual lol I've never had my rear defrost go on but every morning when I remote start the seats go on,I pre-set the temp to 80-82 the night before. Now when I get to work I lower it to 70 because the when I leave (it's warmer out and I don't need heat) and I remote start and no seats are on. Seems like it temp activated to what your pre-set is,anything above a certain degree and it doesn't come on? I'm still going on the assumption mine possessed! :devil:

lol who knows xD

You could be right about the temperature settings, too. Maybe the higher temp settings are what makes it decide to heat up the seats. Either way, I just did the remote start again, and this time none of the things went on, just the last settings as I knew them :)

Try playing with you temp setting and let me know how yours is. I know some say that their seat indicator is not on the home screen but mine is.

Hmm the temp was 78 when I left the car last night, this morning the heated seats were on. After driving it this morning it was on 75 when I left the car and the heated seat didn't turn on.

The screen looks the same with me as with you, including the seat indicator on the home screen.

I'll play around with it some more and let you know :)

I think it's based on outside temperature. I've noticed mine comes on automatically at lower temps and stays off on warmer days. I haven't figured out the cutoff point yet though.

I was trying to find out how you can save the climate control settings.

For whatever reason the floor vent is on with the rear defroster. Every time that I stop it lately I always have upper and lower vents on with the heated seats but the next day it’s always the floor vent and rear defroster.
I also always start it with the FordPass app.

Any rhyme or reason?
