Rear bumper step pad

Is it normal to have a replacement bumper step pad shipped like this? I am asking for a replacement but the company said the next one will be shipped the same way. I just don’t see how this is going to go back to original shape without seeing the stress in the pad. Can anyone chime in on this?

They obviously do this for shipping reasons. It's hard to tell by the picture but is there a white crease in the plastic where it's bent? If not and seeing as it's cold there you could lay it out and take a hairdryer to it and warm it up to see if it bends back into place.

That's just crazy! Looks like they were trying to reduce shipping cost by bending a third of it. Shipping carrier costs go up the longer the item.

id be un happy also. if you have a sunny spot to lay it in with the curve side up it may help. id bet the stress mark is in it to stay.

Lot of bumper "pads" and entire covers are shipped folded like paper.

In should pop itself into position after sitting for a while.

Nope.


I got one from Levitown to fix a booboo.

Came completely straight in a long box.

Haven't put it on yet. Can take a picture if you need, but no longer have the box.
