As a retired letter carrier I feel bad for you . Also guilty as we got 2 inches of rain '
I'm winding down...retirement eligible in Apr. I have to get shoulder surgery like most carriers in Jan so I'll be off until at least apr. I think I'm going to work an extra year. Hope to pay off my Harley with the OT from one more Christmas.

This was 3” this morning and we should end up with 8+” of snow. I put studs on my ATV today for the first time, this morning, mostly because for extra traction in a couple of days to pull our new ice hut onto the ice.

The Ranger has been snug as a bug in the garage during the storm. If I still lived in Alberta, it would be out on the ice with me during ice fishing.

The one thing I love the most on this forum are all the
beautiful pictures of Rangers & snow! Please keep them coming!!! ☃ ☃ ☃
I don't like working in it (delivering mail) but I used to live near Pensacola an I couldn't handle delivering in that summer heat 8 months a year. We got like 1" of snow once while I lived there but it was gone by 9 am

Yes. Any little bit we get always happens when I’m at work and any accumulation is melted by the time I get off. I don’t want to live in it & deal with it daily, but I would like to have a couple of inches at least once a year on a weekend I’m off ( as if I have a choice :) ), so I can play in it with my grandson.☃

With a grand total of 300km I can't say I like the Hankooks. Many complained
about them & I figured it was just driving style but not so sure anymore. I need
more time. I did notice tonight when I was on the highway when I drifted
a little & corrected the steering, for a half second, did not respond, like I was on ice
or the electric steering was 'loose'. Loose as it move a touch but nothing happened.
The other day as I was doing 80km/h, most others were at 70k, the truck slid at least
1 foot or maybe 2 to the right for no apparent reason. 2cm of snow, none on the road, no salt yet, so maybe ice, -5c. It just felt like I was on air. I have to say I have nothing in the bed yet, made a box today, and it's been 20 yrs since I drove rwd in snow.

Time will tell.

EDIT 27th
About the steering issue, I think it was the lane keeping system after more
driving, just getting acquainted with the truck, only 400km so far.

Are the Hankooks considered snow tires in Quebec?

HI Steve,

Summers are why they invented Flagstaff and RVs.... June until the Monsoons are very nice in Flagstaff. Our Torotise loves Flagstaff as well.

I can relate Phil. We left Holbrook, AZ in September on a road with the top down, and by the first stop light on Route 66 in Flagstaff we were putting the top up. Quite a change in temps. :)

Arlyn, with all of your beautiful pictures I had to Google Earth your town. The old downtown is amazing. I can see why you love it there.
