It does not appear it will be today. Even though the UR tracker shows it being picked up at 6:02am, it still shows as "InRoute" - I have no idea how traveling 34 miles could take all day long. Prior deliveries were done in a couple hours. So, I will have to wait until Sunday it appears - assuming it finally does make it to the dealer between now and Sunday. that will put me at 16 weeks and one day of waiting.
A couple of checks ago it showed my truck as being shipped with a railcar number and a transportation Company. The tracker had an end date of 4/12 then it jumped to an end date of 5/5. Could you please check to see if my truck is on a railcar heading somewhere. Also; My Dealer gave me an update regarding the big jump in my delivery date from 4/12 to 5/5. He said his system showed a" MANUAL ADJUSTED" Does anyone know what that means or stands for? Thanks Pat 1FTER4FH3KLA29090
This is my 3rd special ordered vehicle from Ford and I have been happy with each one. This one especially. With the exception of those whose trucks were stalled in production, most trucks are being delivered in about 3 1/2 to 4 months. Not great but also not terrible especially for a new vehicle line. Finally I have had several used vehicles and you never get the use use out of them that you do a new vehicle. I prefer to go new as they last longer and are usually more reliable. I plan to have this truck a long time but would not hesitate to special order another new Ranger in the future.
UR tracker showed my truck in route this morning at 9am. It was delivered to the dealer by 10am. It's now sitting in my garage. Three days after Ford tracker's estimated delivery date. It sat at the rail yard for 8 days before United Road picked it up.
Go figure - all the other vehicles that have been delivered to my dealer all arrived in a couple of hours - I have no idea why these are "stuck". I'm just bummed I didn't get my Ranger today..... Gotta wait until Sunday - hopefully it shows up at the dealer between now and then.
Ordered mine 12/1 and looking Mid-May. It's on the way. I had a change in thinking a few years back and that was "Set your expectations low and you won't be disappointed" Generally, I am rarely disappointed. In this case, April was my hope but May was my expectation. See how it plays out.
Update on mine - I got notification this morning that it was delivered. But it took almost 24 hours to deliver it. It says it was delivered at 2:43am this morning, and the tracker updated to showing delivered as well. I'm going to schedule picking it up on Sunday I hope.
Generally speaking the "days to delivery" will only update once per day at about 8pm Eastern time. The only exception to that I've seen is when a "status change" occurs (in process to production to shipping, etc). Those seem to occur at the point in time when the status changes.Yesterday tracker said 1 day. Today it say 1 day. est should be replaced with wag (wild ass guess).
Check it today after 8PM ET. It may change.Yesterday was 1, today should have been 0. I only check for something to do. The only thing that matters is a call from my son. My steps are not in either, hurry up and wait.
It updates 8:00 pm ET. but I have experienced changes to my dates during the day.
