I ordered my truck on 11/13

In went into production on 2/9

It was delayed due to a steering wheel supply shortage and a back log of spray in bed liners

It went into awaiting shipment on 4/2

It loaded on a train on 4/7

Tonight It’s in North Platte NE in a massive snow storm

It’s missed two estimated delivery dates 2/24 and 3/10

The new estimated delivery date is n/a

I am numb to waiting. Luckily, I have a stubby aftermarket antenna to keep me company.
Hey just be glad it got to North Platte before the snow goes off from this storm because the Missouri is going to flood again. We're getting dumped on here in the Black Hills. Second snow day in a row for me. Snow days are a perk of being a teacher. :)

My truck left this morning. Suddenly, I have a great interest and respect for the railroad companies. The tracker indicates my truck is to be delivered 5/1. Me thinks it will be in my possession well before then.

I hail from a family of teachers, thank you for what you do to ensure our future is in capable and creative hands.

I feel for all of you who are waiting. I think I have a glimmer of hope today. I checked the UR tracking site, and it appears as though my truck has been picked up from the rail yard and is in transit to the dealer - fingers crossed. I'm hoping that they can do the PDI today and I will be able to pick it up this afternoon or evening. It has been almost 4 months for me at this point.

I'm hoping that by tonight I will be one of the people who can say "it is worth the wait".

I feel your pain, I’ve been waiting 5 months this week. Please post pics when you get it.

One of the things that has been really frustrating for me is seeing it just sit - it sat in a rail yard for a week waiting for a train. It sat in the rail yard here for a couple days - but I guess that is really good - some vehicles sit for a week or more waiting for a ride. Speed is not a priority for delivery, that is for sure.

I will definitely post pics once I get it. If it doesn't work out tonight, I will have to wait until Sunday to pick it up. Hoping we can get it all done today, though.

I refuse to watch it go so painstakingly slow across the US. The Pony express was faster. Tracker says tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath.

When it is moving, it is slow, but not terrible. It is all the sitting time that makes it so long. Mine has sat longer than it has been traveling. I'm not holding out a lot of hope for today now. Supposedly it left the rail yard at 6:02am - it is an hour trip (at worst) to the dealer, and here it is noon (6 hours later) and it still hasn't arrived. They had 3 vehicles on that load. We shall see....

Funny. Same snowstorm we are getting in MN. While I don't have a stubby antenna to keep me company, I do have Husky floormats I can admire.

Not being an expert but this is all about cash flow for Ford. If I were a Six Sigma expert, my first project would be to get cash in quicker by delivering the trucks quicker and getting paid quicker. Imagine how much money Ford is losing with these long waits. They have to pay for the parts and then outlay of cash just sits there until the Ranger is sold and they get their money. I bet we are talking about some huge sums.

Mine arrived in Phoenix on Saturday 4/6. Unloaded on 4/8. Dealer has no way to track via ATG (the local Ford contracted firm). I wait and wait. The good news is the tracker appears to be all knowing since it has not budged from delivery date of 4/13 since 3/25.

I was told that train unloads in Albuquerque and is trucked to Tucson. Got to quit watching, it will make you crazy. Dont ever special order. The dealers must repaint after all of that sitting around and loading and unloading. Mean while the truck is depreciating. Never buy new. The new first owner always takes a big hit in more ways than one.
