October 28th ordered a 2021 SCab,4X2, Lariat, Race Red, Black Appearance with Locking Def. Received a build date of Dec. 21, 2020. the dealer told me to expect it March 1, 2021. quoted price not counting incentive was $1600 under MSRP. basically published dealer invoice.
Interesting. I ordered my 2021 on Oct 24th and my build date is the second week of January. I also expect delivery in late February or early March. Maybe they schedule based on cofiguration? Mine is a grey Lariat Crew 4x4 with 501A and the Black Appearance also.

I ordered November 7th and got a February 8th build date. For our orders not being very far apart, there's quite a variance in build dates. XLT, Crew, FX4, 302A, velocity blue. Not sure how we stack up against dealers making stock orders, but I'm sure that makes a difference too along with parts availability for certain configurations.

Hi Alex,

Vehicle scheduling is certainly controversial but you are spot on as it can be dictated by part availability. No sense to build a vehicle with missing parts that then need to be stored and pulled into a repair bay to complete.

It seems crazy that they plan on building it before Christmas, but you won't get it until March. I'd keep an eye on Ford's build tracker.

Finally got a glimpse of the Cyber Orange Ranger in this video. It's focused on the Bronco mostly, but you can see the Rangers in the background.

"on average 8 to 10 weeks after build for delivery". Christmas break may slow it down even more. I have low expectations. that way I can be pleasantly surprised.

Incentives on 2021 Special order.

The current incentives on the 2020 Lariats ends on Jan 4th 2021. My truck, a 2021 Lariat, arrives Jan 13th 2021.

What, if any, incentives or rebates can I expect to see? This is the only current unknown about the price of my new truck.

I ordered the 2021 because they do not seem to build what I want to drive.

How far after ordering have you all received a VIN number, to check these build progressions?

I ordered a 2021 a few weeks ago, and the sales manager says that i won't have more information until just before they build it, when they assign the VIN number.

Or, is there other order information you're using to check progress this far ahead of time?

See #24, screen shot of order, Received the Vin about the second week of November, was given the build date at that time by the dealer. Fords order tracker updated to show the build around Dec 12 or about a week prior to expected build date.

The process seems to be going better then I had ever hoped for.

That being said, Fords website is terrible, many broken links.

I wanna get an anti-espionage job shooting drones down. I'm pretty good at five stand and trap so it should be a no brainer.

2021 Chevy Colorados have the employee pricing plus $1000 trade-in assistance along with just about all Chevy's thru 1/4/21 also in my area. I would expect Ford to have something in place beyond the perennial military, 1st responder, 1st time buyer rebates, They usually mirror each other.
