That's what mine has said since it first showed as 'In Transit'. It also shows a freight bill number. Does any of this suggest it's just waiting to be picked up? The tracker with Ford continues to count down the days to delivery (6 today). Hope it's really in transit.

My estimated delivery date was shown to be 03/30, and did not happen. Talked to the sales manager at my dealership on Monday, he was very confident that it would arrive "soon". They're a good dealer, so I trusted him, and in order to get the additional rebate that expired on 04/01, I signed off on everything. It's finally arrived at the vehicle distribution center in Mesquite (DFW area) TX, and will be delivered to the dealer either this afternoon or tomorrow. As soon as mine was in transit, I offered my 2012 Edge for sale, and sold that within a week of posting. So we've been down to only one vehicle for a while, and that's not fun. I'm really looking forward to getting into the Ranger.

My truck has arrived in my home state and is available for pickup by United Road! My dealer is only a half hour away once it is loaded on the transport truck. I'll have to check the United Road tracking site every half hour or so for the next several days (maybe I can be at the dealer when it is delivered). Or I can just drive down to the terminal to see it.

The ford tracking site still says estimated delivery 4/8. Hope it gets to the dealer a few days early. Ford tracker has been pretty accurate so far. So Excited!!

so I called my dealer yesterday regarding the location of my Ranger (blend date 3/12). According to this tread it was at the rail yard and the dealer says it is still at the plant not shipping due to flooding near the area where the train unloads and parks the vehicles.

This just plain sucks. Everyday I swear something else breaks on the Grand Cherokee that is being traded in.

I truly can’t wait much longer. May have to cancel the order and find one on a lot somewhere.

IT MOVED!!!!!! Exactly 8 weeks after it was built it moved to a rail car for shipping this morning. Nothing shows on my trackers, but my dealer's tracker shows it in transit and a rail car # as of 10am this morning.

Is there anyone on this forum who knows of a way to track a rail car on BNSF? I've tried a variety of things, but nothing works. This page:

Looks like it should work, but it just says "no results found" when I put in the car #. None of the automated phone systems works either. I have seen some postings that say a lot of these kinds of things were turned off post 9/11. Not sure if that is the reason or not.

The same happened to me on Monday after about the same amount of time. The tracker updated Tuesday. I was so darn happy to have my truck move to the train yard. Good luck!

Mine sat there for a week, so don't despair. It sounds like it is pretty normal for them to sit for a while.
