Ranger Power Window Reset

Took my 2019 Ranger SuperCab XLT to the dealer for a warranty repair. They disconnected the battery while working on a wiring harness. I later discovered that the power window wouldn't work in Auto mode. A quick internet search yielded the answer.

We don’t have a window module as far as I’m aware. Some of us went through this earlier last year, and it was identified that we needed to add a module to allow this feature on more than the driver window. If we had a window module, we could change to one of the other sets of switches which enables the auto feature on all four windows.

I'm about to replace my battery cause it's acting up. Just got a jump start for the first time since buying 3 years ago. I follow the link instructions after battery replacement.

Replaced door speakers. Did not lose battery power, but did lose auto window function afterwards. This worked like a charm. I thought I had forgotten to plug something back in.

I read the manual for every new vehicle I purchased. Most of it is nothing new but there are always some tid bits that are nice to know.

First time I had to reset the auto up/down feature was back in 2011 on my wife's 2012 Focus.
