Why does a Ranger oil catch can cost three time as much as the same year F150 turbo?

I just looked up a Mustang ecoboost and Ranger ecoboost catch can on UPR’s website and they are pretty much the same price. In fact , the Mustang kit was more expensive… What are you looking at for comparison?

Depends which one you get and how complicated a design. The UPR stuff is really nice with quality hoses and check valves and you are going to pay for that. They also have versions that plug into both sides of the motor so they're more complex than single sided designs that plug into the turbo side like the Ford Performance or the PCV side like the Mishi, J&L, etc
