Random wire I found

while installing my stop start eliminator I found this wire but I don’t know where it should be connected to it doesn’t look like I pulled it out it even has a push pin to hold it up but it’s not damaged anyone know what it might be found it on the passenger side close to center concole by glove box

Probably a plug for something you don't have ... like maybe a connector needed for the manual A/C controls or something.

I happened to be reading the posts re: "Long range extender" and noticed the connector in the picture. probably no relation what-so-ever but it looked similar

I remember seeing a thread about someone wondering why Ford didn’t have a glovebox light in these trucks. The Lariat does for sure so may be worth a look to anyone who has an inop glovebox light. Or thought they didn’t actually have one.

I have confirmation that this wire is indeed the glove box light yellow/green stripe and black/blue stripe
