I prefer hillbilly and that is my excuse for some situations. My great grandfather married a 14 year old girl after his first wife died. Family story is she cost him a new car. My other great grandma was shot by her 2nd husband and had surgery to remove the bullet at Berea Ky in the early 1920's. Family story is my great uncle, 10 years old at the time killed her 2nd husband but the official story is he committed sucide with a rifle. I have the newspaper article from the Richmond Ky newspaper on this. So yea, in my blood and proud of it. Redneck, hillbilly, badge of honor.

No doubt many of our smart answers come from our redneck members! I grew up with family in the big city and family on the farm and they're all good!

When did redneck become a pejorative worth censuring from a forum post? I am a proud hillbilly from Appalachian stock and consider myself to be a redneck.
I posted on the Ford Transit forums and they censured redneck. I guess I'm just to d@mned old.
Mostly I want to see if this forum does it too.

Yep, I must admit, that realy is a beautiful color. Ford's Rapid Red is a great take on candy apple red, just the right metallic content to give it a really deep red.

And, judging by this photo, it might even get the 303 sign of approval from @AzScorpion ! =D
