Nice job on that revised “FX4 Overland” decal. Simpler. Cleaner. More graphic. Obviously, you must own the decal shop...

:like:
I don't but I have a great connection with an Ebayer who can make me anything I can come up with:)

I'm going to figure out a way to get decals cut to fill F O R D on the Raptor knock off grill that matches factory colors...might be an opportunity for win win...

Do you design your own graphics, then just send your EBayer a vector file?

I had the grille (and deflector) on my truck painted to match the Sport package “Magnetic” trim, then painted the Ford letters satin black. Subtle.

Rich at TVD vinyl said he would do it....but have not heard back from him:frown:. I offered-up my grill (letters) to him to design and make them.

I'd love to see these letters get made.

Now I know why I have felt at home on this forum. I am among fellow trekkies as well as Ranger owners.
This, times a thousand. :)

Can you send me the link to the matched vinyls? I'm planning on making a template of the letters and my guy would be happy to have them made up...we have a great relationship:like:

Yes for the most part. Sometimes I find a good start and just make them better. Or I can start from scratch...graphic design is just a small part of my day job as an automotive/product/industrial designer:)

I'm on it. Do you know which of the samples on the site matches Ranger's color pallet? That would be helpful. Need to know so we can get the right vinyl for cutting.

We'll probably have to run a few trials to make sure they fit right.

Great build! But please forgive my ignorance as I am new to trucks again, and very new to 4wd. What is the purpose of removing the crash bars? Are you rubbing with the bigger tires? Will the need to do so still be there when the truck is leveled?

Thanks much...the beams are there to help with offset crash deflection but their benefit compromises the usable tire envelope. Yes, you can lift and keep those beams...however, once the truck begins using it's full articulation while off road with larger than OEM tires, they will make contact with the beams...something I'd rather not encounter when a tires in a ditch or on top of a rock at full lock:facepalm:

So if your fat tires can't steer full lock while in a lowered position (OEM), then they're only good if you don't ever use full articulation:like:
