It's been a long day in the sun but worth the work out...these 80+ pound wheel/tires are really fun to heft around for a 60 year old fart
With the front end up on jacks, I tried to saw through the front beams to no avail...so next option was to pull the bumper to get the clearance I need to slide these bars out in one piece. That effort was slowed quite a bit due to the frustratingly tough to remove clipped on front valence. And it worked! After I got that done, it was a simple matter of removing the six bolts holding the bumper to the frame, pulling the bumper forward just enough to slide out the front crash bars.

@Msfitoy Sid, when I saw this picture it reminded me of what my garage looks like at times. And, it makes me think of how lucky we are to have wives that let's their little boys play with their toys. All of that hard work has really paid off. The truck looks looks great.

Oh, and I laughed when I read about the tires being moved around by a 60 year old fart. I resemble that remake. :)

Right Jim...this is a common sight at my house...I have a wonderful wife who is very oblivious to my garage adventures...it's only when she's balancing the book is when I get a gentle reminder about restraint lol...

Installing the Eibach kit was probably the most challenging...next was the Shrock rock sliders...which were too heavy for one person to install so I enlisted my floor jack to help position them...the one that almost stomped me was the RTT...dead lifting that 100+lb setup from the ground and onto the racks was a none starter for this one skinny dude...guess how I did it and without the help of lifting devices? ?

LOL...ever try driving a car with a 2" ground clearance up ramps? But my Ranger, I've changed the exhaust system just by crawling under her... ?

My Mini lol...I misunderstood what you meant...no ramps were used for the RTT install

1-laid the tailgate down and placed moving pads on them and also on the racks
2-positioned the top side facing forward leaning against the gate vertically
3-lifted the RTT up until it was half way on the gate (resting on RTT top side)
4-lift positioned it up vertically sitting fully on the gate with bottom facing rearwards
5-I got up on the gate and one final lift and slide the RTT onto the moving pads on the racks
6-carefully remove the pads from between the racks and RTT, position and bolts down

Did I loose you ?

Hi Sid

Yep! Confused. No. 4 RTT bottom should be facing forward, eh?

You may be right...I'm confused myself until I reconstructed my flip up installation in 3D...does this make sense? At step 4, I place a step to reach the RTT...step 5 when it's vertical, I get up on the bed to lift and rotate the unit onto the racks... ?

Fixed this for @AzScorpion -

With the ultra premium tailgate damper no step escalator and personal load leveler with kick stand, shoppers will be able to load all their Kohl's savings in one single operation after saving hundreds of shopping dollars per trip. The savings and lack of any muscle strain will allow for more beer swilling than ever.

Pump that stein!!?

Save the Economy!!?
