I've had a wild ride the last 4 years. Lived in a 2017 4x4 Sprinter for a couple years, then with the campgrounds getting flooded with people during the pandemic, I "settled down" on a ranch in Montana. The ranch wasn't meant to be my forever spot and life/career brought me back to the Denver area. I sold the van (along with a few other toys I had accumulated in the barns) and had a major life shift to an apartment... Didn't take long to choose the Ranger as my platform of choice to get me off the beaten path to places that the Van couldn't take me.

Starting with a Tremor, mainly because it's what I could get my hands on, as many of you will ultimately see most of the Tremor specific parts will end up being replaced (PM to call dibs - local pickup only). Keeping the aux switches and the seats. Haha

Delivery Day:

The goal is a capable overland rig without cutting too many corners. I've got a couple of dogs that travel with me, so I'm also looking at a custom rear seat delete... I'm sure the plan will evolve and change as the build gets under-way. I'll update with photos as things progress.

No write-ups for the easy stuff, but I removed the Tremor Side Steps (still need to install the Shrockworks sliders), installed the Raptor style grill, morimoto Side Markers, Mishimoto intake, Turbosmart Blowoff, Tailgate Damper, Tailgate Letters and RokBlokz.

Forgot to pop the hood for the Intake and blow-off, but no one cares to see the mess under the hood anyway.

Nice truck and plan. I'd be interested in your rear springs when you do your suspension.

Cool plan! There’s a group of us in Denver that wheel/ camp fairly often. Are you on Facebook?
Sweet! I'd definitely be down to join on some trips. I am not on Facebook however. Instagram is pretty much the extent of my social media. PM me if you guys have anything planned though!

Bedliner, Tint, PPF finally got completed by the dealer accessory company.

20% on fronts and bumped up rear to match, 80% on windshield.

Have to wait for the PPF to cure on the front so I can finally give the truck the 303 treatment...

Hoping to get slider install done in the next week or two.

Shrockworks Sliders and Prinsu Roof Rack added today. Well... Technically only the driver side slider is installed. They shorted me some hardware, so I have a note out to them. Might get impatient and work with a machine shop Tuesday to fab up 2 additional backer plates and a stick nut.

Haven't updated in a while... Because nothing has really been happening. I'm stuck waiting on the bumpers. What was supposed to be 6-8 weeks has turned into 14 weeks and still told it will be another 6-8 weeks... Very frustrating.

I am waiting to install the suspension until the front bumper arrives to properly set pre-load.

I also had an RSI Smartcap on order, but could not get an ETA after being told it would be July and still not getting any updates... So I cancelled and now have a GFC on order, with install scheduled for 10/22. I'm a relatively patient person, but if the answer is "we can't even give you an ETA"... I will find another solution.

I currently have some Roam boxes on the roof that I added for gear storage since the cap was MIA. I'm hoping to keep one turned perpendicular once the GFC arrives, but for now, they are getting me by.

Ok, front bumper set to arrive on Monday, so progress will be made soon!

I'm adding some ARB skids, rough country diff skid and exhaust to the build as well.

The lack of progress has not kept me off the trails. Been using the sliders and enjoying the truck!
