Just for giggles do a Master Reset if you haven't already to wipe everything. If that doesn't clear it up, you can try to load the version prior from this post.
I had already done that with no change. I will give the older version a try, thanks.

I also have had the blue screen of death after the reverse back up. It goes away after shut down but it has to be for shut down for quite a while say 5 minutes. Is there a cure??

I haven't found one yet. Every time I reverse, I lose Sync and have to reset.

Take it to the dealer, that's not normal.

Just to be clear...
It is the center stack display which is freezing, right?
Not the productivity screen located in the instrument panel.

Tell me how to reset, please?
It's in the first post of this thread. Hold in the volume/power button and the fast forward/next track button at the same time for about 5 seconds and the system reboots. I've been doing it several times a day. When I get a chance, I will be heading to the dealer to get it checked out. Only started after I did the update, was fine before that.

For me, yes the sync 3 screen mainly, but when the sync 3 screen isn't working, the right productivity screen does not work either.
