I have noticed that my dash screen does not come on automatically as usual when entering vehicle, just when I start the vehicle. The Ford emblem on the screen would come on as I opened the door. Any thoughts? 21 xlt scab

And does the interior lights come on and will it do the same with the passenger door?
Do you hear the waste gate cycle - when the drivers door opens as well?

This is all tied to the - Wake Circuit, which is driven by the door ajar switch via CAN Bus messaging

Is the vehicle battery in good shape and fully charged? It might be conserving battery power if low.

if only the APIM (Sync) screen - try pulling the (BCM fuse panel Fuse #31) for 5-Minutes and reinstall , just may be a stuck parameter (out of sync) and or a low (SOC) reading and the system is load shedding the APIM.
Install the fuse - close and lock the doors and wait - until all screens turn off and interior lights dim (out) - Modules go back to sleep

Then try to unlock and open the door - does it operate normally?

The APIM is a constant powered module - however - its switch (on) is provided via CAN Bus messaging through 2 paths - Wake and Ignition State the wake message only wakes the module out of sleep and partially powers the APIM the ignition state (Ignition Switch Position Run (ISP-R) provides the full power transition (all internal to the APIM Module)

So a low (at rest) voltage at the module may not be enough to power it up and is being load shed and with the engine running raises the voltage to acceptable levels.

So volt meter test - at rest battery voltage and also try the fuse reset

Recent update?
I am on auto updates, so I checked for new updates, and it was not connected for some reason. I updated the file myself and it seems to have worked. Thanks, guys, for the help. At 75 next month this tech thing is getting a little too advanced for me i guess.
