thank you so much everyone i appreciate all the prayer and support. mom is stable and resting now. they ran several tests and we are waiting on results. i just got home from hospital im worn out glad dads staying with her. so far no bad results. waiting on mri and others in morning. thank you friends god bless all of you

just got back from hospital a lil while ago. moms awake and talked a small amount. ate some food and took medicines. no real news yet from the doctors. so far all results have been as they were a couple months ago. they found a uti and are giving meds for that. but no explanation yet for changes this week. thanks all for the prayers!

mom was released from hospital this afternoon. long dang day. i gotta stay up a couple more hours to check on her, started a new med she may have reaction. apparently she has a uti and ear infection which caused her to show symptoms of another stroke. ct showed no new damage thankfully. she still is not saying much but did eat pretty well and is in her own bed. Hopefully things go smoothly i need some sleep too. havent got much since friday and gotta be at work in the morning. Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support it really does help!

Some good news there. I cannot imagine the stress. It sucks for her to be going through this, and how that impacts family, friends, and caregivers.

Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious Mark. You and your family have been going through a lot these past 3 months and hopefully things will start to get better. I know it's easier said than done but you need to get some rest and take care of your own health too. You know we'll all have you in our thoughts and will continue to pray for a speedy recovery.

Hi Mark,
My mom passed two weeks ago. 6 weeks prior she was given her last rites and sent home for comfort care where we thought any moment. The last time all brothers and sisters were together (7 of us) at one time was 15 years ago. We all prayed together and she lasted another 6 weeks. We all are thankful she could stay longer to enjoy her whole family one last time. It was a blessing for her and us.

Keep the faith and stand strong!!! I’m sure those are her thoughts and wishes!! Prayers for your family brother.
