Last weekend I replaced all of my factory speakers (non B&O system) with JL Audio components so I did have all of my door panels off and in the process did have all the wiring harnesses off of the door panels. I put everything back together and am quite satisfied with the results but noticed that now my power window on the drivers side no longer automatically goes all the way up or down with the single press of the window switch. Is this something I could have accidentally done? Operating like this doesn't really bother me in fact I think I like it better to go up or down only when I'm actually moving the switch but I'm very meticulous about my work and just wondering why this now operates differently? Any insight would be appreciated...

Hi Marc,

This is from the owners manual and may help you.

Resetting the Memory of the
Electric Windows - Vehicle with
One Touch Up/Down on Driver
Side only
Note: The bounce back feature remains
turned off until you reset the memory.
In the event of a flat battery or after the
battery is disconnected from the vehicle,
you must reset the memory for the driver
window.
1. Open the window and then try to close
it using the one-touch feature.
2. Lift and hold the switch to the second
action point until you fully close the
window.
3. Lift and hold the switch for more than
two seconds and release.
4. Open the window using the first action
point and try to close it automatically
using the second action point.
5. If the window does not open or close
automatically when you press the
switch or lift it to the second action
point, repeat the procedure.

Best,

Probably need to reset the auto window feature. There is a proceed somewhere on the forum.

EDIT: You beat me to it Phil. :like:

Make sure the power window lock is not on. My one touch only works when the lock is off.

My auto up/down wasn't working today and I wasn't sure why, until I did a search and found this thread! I had my battery disconnected this weekend and didn't even know the window needed resetting afterwards? Thanks, Phil!
