Both SE Oregon. Believe it or not this was the start of & after one of the nastiest trails we've ever driven on(bottom pic was the start, top pic was after we completed it). Road consisted of sharp jagged rocks & we were afraid of tires getting torn up.

Please explain the duct tape????
It's mounting the dune required flag, you can see the white pole running up the body if you look more closely.

There was only one 'tough' section. I was really impressed how the Ranger handled it. The 4.88 gears allowed me to go really slow. (I'm old and no longer in my 'when in doubt, throttle out' phase)
That looks like so much fun.

As explained by @Gizmokid2005 flags are required on dunes for safety, but I did not have any place to mount the flag, so I duct taped it in gap between the cab/rear door. It stayed. lol I've yet to test it, but I did rig up a mount for next time. ;)

Can you place it anywhere? In Michigan it has to be at the front of the vehicle. I have a front hitch setup and put my flag in a ball mount . Before that I had it cobbled into the front tow hook.

Yea, I completely missed the flag. Only saw the tape. My bad.

When I read it for Oregon it said it had to be 9 feet high, but didn't specify where on the vehicle.
